OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course students will be able to
Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences including alternative systems and nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
Demonstrate competency in the skills and techniques of nursing based on concepts and principles from selected areas of physical, biological and behavioral science by using the nursing process.
Render comprehensive care to family and community through the nursing process.
Demonstrate critical thinking skill in making decisions in all situations in order to provide quality care. Take up leadership role as first level managers in nursing service and education.
Recognize the need for continued learning for their personal and professional development. Participate in promotive, preventive and restorative health care delivery system.
Practice moral and ethical values in the nursing profession.
Apply the knowledge of research methodology and conduct need based research projects.
